Lexandria's Statement on AI

We understand that the use of “artificial intelligence” (AI) may be controversial for some people, but we view this technology as a fundamentally valuable tool.

In the same way that word processors; online search engines; non-linear video editing, digital photo editing, graphic design software; and automated spell-checkers are incredibly helpful and allow us to save time and achieve more polished and consistent results, AI can help us develop higher quality content much more efficiently than we would without it.

But just as digital design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or ProCreate are not responsible for the work of the artist, we believe that the productive application—or misapplication—of AI is entirely at the discretion of the human user.

At Lexandria, AI may be used in the creation of digital content in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to:

  • Initial research

  • Content structuring

  • Proof-reading & copyediting

  • Quiz & activity development

  • Graphics & artwork

  • Video creation

  • …and more.

Regardless of the software or tools used in the creation of the content that appears on our platform, the buck stops with us—the people of Lexandria.

Our promises to you:

  1. AI software will never make key decisions for us.

  2. Everything we create has been reviewed and approved by subject-matter experts working directly with us.

  3. We are responsible for everything that is published on our sites.
