Brad Lips

Brad Lips is the chief executive officer of Atlas Network, which increases prosperity by strengthening a global network of independent civil society organizations that promote individual freedom and remove barriers to human flourishing. He is the author of Liberalism and the Free Society, in addition to other monographs and articles that have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Forbes, and other outlets. 

Brad serves on the boards of directors of Lexandria, Donors Capital Fund, and The Village School.  He chairs the Membership and Recruitment Committee of the Mont Pelerin Society; served as President of the Antigua Forum; and is member of The Cosmos Club, John Templeton Foundation, Templeton World Charity Foundation, and Templeton Religion Trust. Prior to joining Atlas Network in 1998, Brad was a music journalist writing at Option magazine; a founder of an Internet start-up; an equity analyst for Smith Barney, Inc., and a policy researcher for The Progress & Freedom Foundation. He received his MBA from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University and his undergraduate degree from Princeton University. Brad lives with his wife, Stephanie, and their children in Falls Church, Virginia.
